The Spumante Kius di Marco Carpineti is an original sparkling wine made from Bellone grapes in purity. This variety, with ancient origins, is widespread in Lazio, especially in the provinces of Rome and Latina; it is a vigorous vine and not very sensitive to diseases. For decades, Marco Carpineti has dedicated his study and energy to it, and the choice to produce classic method sparkling wines has proven to be successful beyond expectations. We are in Cori, at the foot of the Monti Lepini (56 km from the capital), on volcanic soils. The grapes are harvested in the last decade of August, gently pressed as whole berries, and fermented at controlled temperatures. The second fermentation in the bottle takes place between April and June of the year following the harvest, and the wine then remains on the lees for about 24 months.

The Classic Method Vintage Sparkling Wine Kius by Marco Carpineti is bright straw yellow with lively and fine bubbles. The nose opens with apple notes, quickly enriched with pastry hints, menthol and balsamic aromas, hints of wild berries and resin. The palate is fresh and savory, balanced and with great aromatic consistency. Perfect with a veal tartare and herb mayonnaise.
