Corpo medioHofstätter's Sauvignon 2023 Michei is part of the Michei line, wines produced from specially selected grapes. Maso Michei is located in an isolated high mountain area in southern Trentino, where the vines grow on soils composed of conglomerate of clay, lime, porphyry and fine gravel, at altitudes between 790 and 850 metres with a sunny exposure, facing South. The grapes are lightly pressed, and the skins remain in contact with the must about 8 hours before pressing. The must is then separated from the residues through natural precipitation and then left to ferment at a controlled temperature. The refinement takes place for a few months in steel.
Hofstätter's Sauvignon Michei enters the glass with a beautiful lively straw yellow, with greenish reflections; on the nose, it is happily territorial, with notes of gooseberry, currant, elderflower and flint. In the mouth it is lively, tight, savoury, rich in fruit and dangerously refreshing. Very good with a traditional warm seafood salad, as with ravioli of pappa al pomodoro, burrata and basil.
