Jermann's Sauvignon is obtained from 100% Sauvignon Blanc grapes grown in the area of Dolegna del Collio (GO), on soils characterised by marl and sandstone to form a rocky substrate locally called ponca. We are faced with a young and proudly expressive white wine from the territory that has been aged for 6 months in stainless steel before being ready to brighten up the tables, small and large, convivial moments. Sauvignon Blanc is a grape of French origin, particularly typical of the Bordeaux area. However it manages to express itself very well, and in an always different way, also in many other parts of the world such as in Italy, especially in Friuli Venezia Giulia and Trentino Alto Adige.
Jermann's Sauvignon shines in the glass with a straw yellow colour with greenish reflections. On the nose, it expresses aromas of yellow pulp fruit, combined with hints of elderflower, Mediterranean citrus and aromatic herbs. The sip is fresh and mineral, pleasantly fruity and with excellent persistence. Ideal as an aperitif, at the table, it goes well with fresh cheeses and vegetarian dishes as well as exquisite seafood recipes based on white fish and shellfish.
