SICILIA MATER RUM PURE SUGARCANE by Alma Distilleria Artigianale is obtained from pure "purple" sugarcane juice fermented at a controlled temperature for 72/96 hours using selected yeasts. The production process involved double discontinuous distillation in a copper pot still with a water bath. It was bottled at 54%.

On the nose, it boasts aromas of ripe pear, white flowers, Mediterranean herbs - including prominent thyme - and yellow lemon zest, closing with a gentle iodine note. On the palate, it is full, clean, with more than medium intensity, supported by sensations of ripe pear, sweet lemon peel, and balsamic herbs that linger in the finish.
