Rosso di Montalcino di Caparzo

was obtained from 100% Sangiovese grapes. The original vineyards are located on the north and south slopes of Montalcino (SI) at an altitude ranging between 220 and 270 meters above sea level, presenting diverse characteristics in terms of microclimate and soil composition. The red vinification process included an alcoholic fermentation phase at a temperature of 18-20°C, lasting for 7 days with a 5-day maceration of the must on the skins. The aging took place for several months in stainless steel.

ROSSO DI MONTALCINO CAPARZO: TASTING

The presents itself with a ruby red color and bright reflections. On the nose, it expresses aromas of raspberry and red berry fruits, alongside floral hints of poppy combined with subtle notes of Mediterranean herbs. The taste is warm and balanced with a smooth tannic texture and a pleasant fruity flavor. It pairs well with cheeses and flavorful land-based recipes, especially those featuring red meats.
