In the production process of Brunello di Montalcino DOCG 2017 - Giodo, 100% Sangiovese Grosso grapes are used. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature for approximately 25 days. The wine is then aged in French oak barrels with a capacity of 32 to 54 hectolitres for a period of 36 months. The vinification and ageing is carried out in accordance with the rules established by the Brunello di Montalcino production regulations. The wine is produced in the Tuscan region, in the town of Montalcino, on clay and sandy soils with mainly south-west exposure.
Brunello di Montalcino DOCG 2017 - Giodo offers a visual analysis with an intense and shiny ruby red colour. The aroma contains notes of ripe red fruits, sweet spices and hints of tobacco. The taste is full-bodied, structured and harmonious with a good persistence of flavours. Brunello di Montalcino DOCG 2017 - Giodo is a wine that can age for many years and achieve its full flavour over time. To best enjoy its characteristics, it is recommended to pair it with red meats, aged cheeses and dishes from Tuscan cuisine.
