Rosso del Bepi Veneto IGT 2016 – Quintarelli

A red wine of great character by Giuseppe Quintarelli, produced in Veneto, on the hills of Valpolicella. The vintage is 2016, and the wine is made from Corvina (55%), Rondinella (30%), and Cabernet Sauvignon (15%), with an alcohol content of 15.5% ABV.

Production follows the estate’s traditional method: careful grape selection, slow natural drying, pressing at the end of January, around 20 days of maceration, 45 days of fermentation, and long aging of 7 years in large Slavonian oak casks. It is a deeply expressive red, shaped by patience and a winemaking process focused on depth, balance, and longevity.

In the glass, it shows an intense ruby red color. On the nose, it is broad and complex, with notes of ripe red fruit, cherry, spices, and light evolved nuances. On the palate, it is warm, structured, and enveloping, with silky tannins and a very persistent finish. Ideal pairings include red meats, game, fine cured meats, aged cheeses, and rich traditional dishes. Recommended serving temperature: 18–20 °C.
