Amarone Campi Lunghi de I Campi is vinified with Corvina and Corvinone grapes for 85%, Rondinella for 10% and Croatina for the remaining 5%. The name derives from the very long rows of 1 hectare of vineyards in Progno di Cellore, in Alta Val d'Illasi; the plants are on average 30 years old, penetrate pebbly soils at 270 metres above sea level with South/South-East exposure. The harvest takes place between September and October according to the trend of the season; to be regulated, the grapes left to dry to obtain the “Amarone della Valpolicella” wines cannot be vinified before 1 December. The mass ferments between stainless steel and wood, the wine then refines on its lees for 6 months and then rests in the bottle at least another 12 before being placed on the market. The "Amarone della Valpolicella" wines must be subjected to an ageing period of at least two years with effect from 1 January following the year of production of the grapes.

The Amarone Campi Lunghi of the I Campi company has an intense ruby red colour; the nose is dense with fruit and sweet spiciness; in the mouth, it is savoury and balanced, with soft tannins and great length. Very good with roast duck and its red fruit sauce.Product specifications
