The Rosato Terre di Chieti di Palazzo Battaglini has been made with 50% Montepulciano and 50% Merlot grapes grown in the territory of Villamagna (CH) at an altitude of about 243 meters above sea level. In the cellar, the bunches were gently pressed to obtain the must. Alcoholic fermentation took place at a controlled temperature with a short maceration of the must on the skins which gave the wine its characteristic pink color. The refinement was for several months in stainless steel. For its wines, Palazzo Battaglini uses Dring, the innovative bottle with an incorporated drip-saver. It is a patented device that allows pouring the wine without any drops falling from the bottle. No more wine stains on the tablecloth.
The Rosato Terre di Chieti di Palazzo Battaglini stands out with a light pink color. On the nose, it releases aromas of strawberry, cherry, and small red fruits intertwined with slight notes of wildflowers. The taste is fresh and pleasantly savory with a distinctly fruity flavor. It is fully enjoyed at the table with cold cuts and cheeses as well as with light dishes from land and sea.
