The Riesling di Monsupello is obtained from 100% PLACEHOLDERWINENAME Rhenish grapes grown in the area of the first hilly belt of the municipalities of Oliva Gessi and Torricella Verzate, in the province of Pavia. The original vineyards are exposed to the Southeast and Southwest, taking root in clay-limestone soils. After manual harvesting, with a yield of 70 quintals per hectare, the clusters were whole-pressed gently. Only the flower must (corresponding to 50% of the first pressing) was started for vinification in white, therefore carried out without maceration in contact with the skins. For this fresh and aromatic white, alcoholic fermentation took place at a controlled temperature of 18°C, while refinement occurred in stainless steel for several months.

RIESLING MONSUPELLO: TASTING NOTES

The PLACEHOLDERWINENAME Pavia Monsupello appears to the eye as a straw yellow color with greenish reflections. On the nose, aromas of pear and white pulp fruit emerge, intertwined with floral scents and notes of yellow citrus. On the palate, it is fresh and fruity, supported by a vibrant fresh-savory trail that invites a second sip. When paired with food, it goes well with fresh cheeses and vegetarian dishes, as well as with delicious preparations based on white fish and shellfish.
