The Ribolla Gialla Maralba di Marco Fellluga is born from 100% Ribolla Gialla grapes cultivated in the municipalities of Oslavia and Capriva del Friuli, in the province of Gorizia. The peculiarity of the territory is represented by the so-called "ponca" (or flysch), a soil formed by the alternation between marl and sandstone that gives the wines a particularly mineral character. During vinification, alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel was preceded by a short cold maceration to extract the primary fruit aromas. The refinement took place for 6 months in stainless steel in contact with the yeasts and for a few months in the bottle.
The extrapolated wine Ribolla Gialla Maralba di Marco FelllugaRibolla Gialla Maralba by Marco Felluga presents itself with an intense straw yellow color. On the nose, it introduces itself with aromas of exotic yellow fruit and white flowers intertwined with delicate notes of aromatic herbs and flint stone. The taste is enveloping and full-bodied, enhanced by a genuine freshness and a deep minerality that lingers in the finish. Excellent as an aperitif, it pairs well with vegetarian dishes as well as tasty seafood dishes.
