Aroma fruttato
Corpo leggeroSweetness and freshness work together in Quercioli Reggiano Dolce. This lively red Lambrusco belongs to the Quercioli range from Medici Ermete, an estate deeply rooted in the wine traditions of Reggio Emilia. Its appeal lies in an expressive fruit profile, an inviting froth and the balance between sweetness and acidity.
The wine is produced in Reggio Emilia, Emilia-Romagna, from Lambrusco Salamino and Lambrusco Marani grapes under the Reggiano Lambrusco DOC designation. The producer specifies spur-pruned cordon training and a maximum production of 14,000 kg of grapes per hectare. It is a non-vintage (NV) wine, made to be enjoyed for its youthful character.
Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks. In the glass the wine is bright ruby red, with persistent fruit aromas and hints of violet. The palate is sweet and fruity yet fresh and lively, with a fine, generous froth when poured.
According to the winery’s technical specifications, it contains 8.5% alcohol by volume, 50 g/l of sugar, approximately 7.5 g/l total acidity and 0.30 g/l volatile acidity. The producer also reports 294 kJ / 70 kcal per 100 ml. The bottle holds 750 ml and has a mushroom-style closure. These figures help explain its distinctive interplay of sweetness and freshness.
Serve chilled at 8–10°C. It matches fruit, desserts and pizza, while its sweetness offers an interesting counterpoint to spicy food. Medici Ermete recommends drinking it young, ideally within one to two years, to enjoy its lively sparkle. Contains sulphites.
