Corpo medioThe Prosecco Valdobbiadene di Casa Coste Piane is produced from 100% Glera grapes grown in limestone-marl soils, at an altitude ranging from 250 to 400 meters above sea level. The winemaking process began with soft pressing. Subsequently, the "flower must," which is the result of the first pressing, was left to ferment for about 15 days. After a winter rest, the wine was bottled: during this phase, the naturally present yeasts spontaneously activated a second fermentation responsible for the sparkling process.
The Prosecco Valdobbiadene di Casa Coste Piane presents itself with a cloudy straw yellow color enlivened by lively bubbles. On the nose, it releases aromas of white flesh fruit combined with floral hints of lime and hawthorn, accompanied by slight notes of aromatic herbs. On the palate, it is fresh and well-structured, supported by a distinct minerality. The citrusy finish is persistent. At the table, it is appreciated as an all-around meal wine, best paired with fish, shellfish, or crustacean dishes.
