Pinot Nero Riserva Maglen di Tramin:

The Pinot Nero Riserva Maglen di Tramin is produced from 100% Pinot Noir grapes. The vineyards from which it is born are exposed to the West and Southwest and are located on clay-sandy soils, at an altitude between 400 and 600 meters above sea level. The harvest was carried out by hand in the first half of October. During vinification, alcoholic fermentation took place in large oak vats at a controlled temperature of 28°C. Aging was for 12 months in barrels, 6 months in cement vats, and an additional 6 months in the bottle.

The Pinot Nero Riserva Maglen di Tramin extrapolated presents itself to the eye with a ruby red color with garnet reflections. On the nose, it expresses aromas of ripe small red fruits that combine with timid hints of hay and notes of vanilla and dark spices. The taste is elegant and enveloping. The tannic texture is silky. The finish is long with hints of incense and tobacco. It pairs well with aged cheeses as well as tasty land-based recipes with red meats or game.
