The Pecorino di Tenuta Terraviva wine for the year 2021 has received the "Best Value for Money" Gambero Rosso Award. It is a 100% organic white wine made from Pecorino di Tenuta Terraviva grapes grown on pergolas in the Tortoreto area (TE). The harvest was carried out manually in small crates in the first decade of September. In the cellar, the clusters were destemmed and gently crushed to respect the integrity of the berries. Thanks to soft pressing, the must was allowed to settle in stainless steel vats. Alcoholic fermentation took place with the action of native yeasts at a controlled temperature of 16°C. The refinement lasted for 6 months in stainless steel.

PECORINO TENUTA TERRAVIVA: TASTING

The Pecorino di Tenuta Terraviva wine presents itself in the glass with a straw yellow color and greenish reflections. On the nose, it offers aromas of yellow fruit, white spring flowers, and Mediterranean herbs. The taste is fresh and mineral, with a pleasant fruity and citrusy finish. Ideal as an aperitif, it pairs well with cheeses and vegetarian dishes, as well as with delicious seafood recipes based on white fish, shellfish, or crustaceans.
