Corpo medioMasciarelli's Marina Cvetic Trebbiano d'Abruzzo DOC Riserva brings an emblematic Abruzzo grape into a style shaped by both precise winemaking and a strong sense of place. Established in 1991, the Marina Cvetic collection reflects Gianni Masciarelli's ambition to explore the expressive potential of the region.
Made from 100% Trebbiano Abruzzese, the wine draws on vineyards around San Martino sulla Marrucina, Bucchianico and Ripa Teatina. Their clay-limestone soils and distinctive hillside landscape provide the setting for this interpretation of the grape.
Following a period of cold maceration in the press, fermentation takes place in French oak barriques. The wine remains in contact with its lees, with regular bâtonnage, and undergoes further maturation in bottle. Oak is an integral part of the production method, supporting complexity without obscuring the variety.
Falstaff's tasting of the 2024 vintage highlights quince, pear and yellow apple, with touches of honeycomb and jasmine. The palate combines lively freshness, medium body and a lingering saline finish. Falstaff awarded this vintage 94/100 points in 2026.
An appealing choice when you want a textured, food-friendly Italian white rather than a simple aperitif wine. It pairs with fish, white meat and cheese; the producer recommends serving at 10–12°C.
