The Amabile style is a distinctive part of Orvieto’s wine tradition: lightly sweet yet refreshing, with enough balance to accompany food as well as relaxed drinking. Bigi’s 2025 vintage comes from the historic Classico growing area surrounding Orvieto in Umbria.

Five grapes, one balanced style

Trebbiano Toscano, Grechetto, Verdello, Malvasia Toscana and Drupeggio make up the blend. Ripe grapes are gently pressed and the clarified must ferments at a controlled 15–17°C. Fermentation is stopped while some natural grape sugar remains, and the wine then rests in stainless-steel tanks.

Floral notes, honey and a fresh finish

Pale golden yellow in the glass, it offers aromas of meadow flowers, honey and a hint of almond. Ripe fruit flavours and a delicate sweetness are balanced by a lively, refreshing palate.

Serve chilled, at around 10°C. Try it with fruit tarts or delicate biscuits, or explore its versatility alongside shellfish, fish in sauce and full-flavoured cheeses.
