Nero d'Avola Bellifolli di Valle dell'Acate Nero d'Avola Bellifolli from Valle dell'Acate is part of the new fresh and immediate line that Gaetana Jacono dedicates, with colorful labels, to the baroque masks of Ragusa, a synthesis of Sicilian character and contrasts: beauty and madness, light and shadow. The vineyards are located in Contrada Bidini Soprano and Sottano, in Acate on medium-textured clayey soils, black in color. The grapes are harvested in the second half of September and vinified in steel, where the wine then undergoes a first aging phase of 4 months, before resting in the bottle for another 3 months before being put on the market.

Nero d'Avola from Valle dell'Acate in Sicilia Bellifolli presents itself as a bright ruby red. On the nose, it is territorial, with notes of blackberry, lavender, Mediterranean scrub, hints of caper and undergrowth. In the mouth, it is fresh, savory, with polite tannins and a slightly balsamic finish. A wine with broad versatility, it is certainly to be tasted accompanied by a red fish soup.
