The Nebbiolo d'Alba by Cascina Botal is made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes. This incredible grape variety, from which prestigious Piedmontese reds such as Barbaresco and Barolo are made, is said to be named after its late ripening in October/November, coinciding with the typical autumn mists. After traditional red vinification, which includes maceration of the must on the skins, the Nebbiolo d'Alba by Cascina Botal is aged for several months in oak barrels.
