Filosofia BIO
Aroma fruttato
Corpo medioThe Moro di Marco Carpineti is born from Greco grapes of a locally called variety "Moro di Marco CarpinetiMoro", belonging to the Greco Bianco family, one of those almost forgotten grapes that the company has been recovering, studying and reintroducing for years. This biotype had been abandoned in the past due to low productivity and cultivation difficulties; today a balance has been found by carefully measuring traditional practices and more in-depth technical knowledge. The dark green berries of Greco "Moro di Marco CarpinetiMoro" are harvested and selected in the early hours of the morning, then cold macerated, gently pressed, and fermented at controlled temperature for about 12 days. Aging takes place directly in the bottle for about a year.
Moro di Marco Carpineti is straw yellow with bright greenish reflections. The olfactory profile boasts summer hints of peach, fresh almond, plums, and freshly cut hay, enriched by scents of broom and ginger. On the palate, it is savory, generous in structure and alcohol content, but well balanced. A perfect wine for a seafood table, rich first courses, and tasty second courses, from paccheri alla trabaccolara versiliese to calamari alla romana.
