Malvasia delle Lipari di Caravaglio is a wine that cannot leave you indifferent. Located on the island of Salina, this unique vineyard, cared by Nino Caravaglio, is composed of 30 small plots of land, perfectly embedded in its ecosystem between the mountains and the sea. The pedoclimatic conditions of the island allow for viticulture and agriculture that are very respectful of nature and the mild climate, abundant sunshine, and clean air result in favorable growing conditions where no chemical treatments are necessary. This Malvasia delle Lipari is composed of 95% Malvasia and 5% Corinto Nero. The grapes are hand-picked and left to dry in the September sun on traditional cannizzi (racks) for about 15-20 days. After spontaneous fermentation, the wine is aged partially in steel tanks and partially in oak barrels for six months and then rests in the bottle as well.

Caravaglio's Malvasia delle Lipari has a fascinating amber color, bright and crystalline with golden hues. The bouquet is a collection of Mediterranean aromas: dates, dried apricots, figs, golden raisins, and notes of vanilla. In the mouth it has a long persistence marked by an elegant freshness and citrus flavor which perfectly balance the sweetness. Fantastic with almond paste cookies.
