Pouilly Fuissè di Domaine J.A. Ferret: DESCRIPTION

The Pouilly Fuissè di Domaine J.A. Ferret is a 100% Chardonnay white wine from the best company vineyards located in Fuissé, a village in the Mâcon region of Burgundy. The soils where the vines grow, with an average age of 40 years, have a varied composition: on one side granitic, on the other characterized by marly limestone and Jurassic with clay deposits. After the traditional production process, the wine has aged for several months in stainless steel tanks (55%) and in used wooden barrels - from the 2nd to the 5th passage (45%).

The Pouilly Fuissè di Domaine J.A. Ferret wine appears in a straw yellow color with bright reflections. On the nose, it expresses aromas of apple, white peach, and yellow fruits that meet floral notes of linden and acacia along with hints of citrus and sweet spices. On the palate, it is smooth, intense, and balanced, supported by an elegant freshness and a deep minerality that persists in the long finish. It pairs excellently with cheeses and vegetarian dishes as well as with tasty preparations of white fish, shellfish, and crustaceans at the table.
