Lugana DOC Gabriella 2025 – Buglioni is produced from Trebbiano di Lugana grapes grown in a single estate-owned vineyard on the hills south of Lake Garda. The chalky clay soils of morainic origin and the moderating influence of the lake contribute to an elegant, fresh white wine with a distinctive connection to the Lugana region.

The grapes are harvested by hand, followed by destemming, gentle crushing and temperature-controlled fermentation. The wine spends eight months in the cellar, including five months in stainless-steel tanks, preserving its aromatic clarity and lively character. The bouquet offers cherry blossom, white rose and jasmine, joined by peach, green apple, lemon zest and subtle tropical nuances. The palate is harmonious and fragrant, with a pronounced chalky minerality, refreshing acidity and an appealing saline finish.

The name Gabriella is a tribute to Mariano Buglioni’s mother, regarded as his first muse and a constant source of inspiration. This wine pairs beautifully with light appetisers, soft cheeses, grilled fish, sea bass, amberjack, seafood soups and spaghetti with clams. Serve well chilled at approximately 4 °C to highlight its floral fragrance, citrus freshness and mineral character.
