La Vite Lucente Frescobaldi Toscana Rosso IGT Tenuta Luce 2015 was born from Sangiovese and Merlot grapes grown in the splendid vineyards of Tenuta Luce, south-west of Montalcino (SI). We are in one of the most prestigious areas of Italian and international wine production. The project of the Luce della Vite brand, created by the Marquises de'Frescobaldi, is precisely that of contributing to the exaltation of a territory that is in itself extraordinary and capable of giving always new emotions over time. The ageing was 12 months in barriques, partly new and partly used.

LUCENTE FRESCOBALDI: TASTING

Lucente by Frescobaldi seduces the eye with its intense ruby red colour. Enveloping aromas of small ripe red fruits, eucalyptus and aromatic herbs intertwined with toasted hints of coffee are a prelude to a soft and velvety sip, supported by finely smooth tannins. Long and pleasant persistence. At the table, it goes well with cured meats and aged cheeses, as well as succulent dishes based on game or red meats, especially if prepared stewed.
