The Atto Aglianico di Cantine del Notaio is a red wine made from 100% Aglianico del Vulture. The harvest was conducted by hand during the first decade of October. The vinification process took place in stainless steel at controlled temperature and included a maceration phase of the must on the skins lasting 5-6 days. The aging occurred in natural caves of volcanic tuff, extending for 6 months in stainless steel and in French oak barrels or tonneaux.

The Atto Aglianico di Cantine del Notaio presents itself with an intense ruby red color. On the nose, it reveals aromas of sour cherry, plum, and red fruits combined with subtle hints of lava stone, licorice, and dark spices. The taste is full and harmonious, with good structure and well-integrated tannic texture. It pairs well with aged cheeses as well as rich land-based recipes with red meats or game.
