Aroma fruttato
Corpo medioThe Kerner of the Abbazia di Novacella is produced from the vineyards of Varna, an amphitheatre sloping above the complex of the ancient splendid Abbey, between 600 and 750 metres above sea level, with South - Southwest exposure, on gravel, silt and sand soils of morainic origin. A scenario of great charm and mysticism; try to cross the buildings of the complex, from the courtyard with the Well of Wonders, to the late Baroque convent church, to the flowery cemetery and go up to the back, enter the vineyards and walk along the walls of the gardens of the Augustinian Canons: you will understand. The grapes are harvested in early October and vinified in steel. Still in steel, the wine ages 6 months before being placed on the market.
The Kerner of the Abbazia di Novacella is presented in the glass with a straw yellow colour with greenish hues; on the nose, it smells of flowers and summer fruit, with mineral trails in the background. In the mouth, it has a beautiful structure, great citrus acidity, rocky flavour and length. Very good with a rich raw seafood, as with ricotta and mountain herbs ravioli.
