The Gewürztraminer from Thomas Dorfmann is made from pure Gewürztraminer grapes. The vineyards are located in the Untrum area, a hamlet of Velutrno, in the province of Bolzano. The soils here are pebbly and permeable, particularly rich in diotrite, and extend to an altitude of about 600 meters above sea level. The white winemaking process involved a controlled temperature alcoholic fermentation phase, which converted sugars into alcohol. The wine refined its characteristics in stainless steel tanks in contact with the fine lees.

Thomas Dorfmann's Gewürztraminer is characterized by a straw yellow color with golden reflections. On the nose, it displays aromas of lychee and tropical yellow fruit, along with floral hints of rose and nuances of aromatic herbs and spices. The palate is fresh, soft, and full-bodied, finely aromatic and with excellent persistence. It pairs perfectly with cheeses and rich vegetable-based dishes, as well as tasty recipes prepared with white fish, shellfish, and crustaceans. Also ideal with white meats.
