The Gavi dei Gavi Etichetta Nera di La Scolca was obtained from 100% Cortese grapes from hillside vineyards located in the Gavi area, in the province of Alessandria. The winemaking process, which included a brief cold skin maceration phase, took place entirely in stainless steel. The aging occurred for 6 months always in stainless steel in contact with the yeasts.

On the nose, it reveals aromas of ripe yellow fruit pulp that meet hints of spring field flowers and light herbal notes. The taste is fresh and distinctly mineral. The finish is long and pleasantly almond-like. It perfectly pairs with delicious seafood recipes at the table. Also worth trying in combination with white meats.
