Aroma floreale
Corpo leggeroThe Garganega e Chardonnay Scaia Bianco di Sant'Antonio from Sant'Antonio comes from Garganega (55%) and Chardonnay (45%) grapes grown in the areas of the municipalities of Colognola ai Colli, Illasi, and Mezzane, in the province of Verona. The vineyards, ranging in age from 10 to 15 years, are located on medium-clayey soils with gravel substratum, at an altitude of about 100 meters above sea level. The winemaking process included a cold maceration phase that allowed the extraction of the primary aromas of the grape varieties. Alcoholic fermentation, which converted sugars into alcohol, took place at a controlled temperature of 13-14°C. The aging occurred in stainless steel for a short period
Tenuta Sant'Antonio's Garganega e Chardonnay Scaia Bianco di Sant'Antonio presents itself with a straw yellow color with greenish reflections. On the nose, it expresses aromas of white and yellow pulp fruit intertwined with hints of acacia flowers and slight citrus notes. The taste is fresh and pleasant, supported by a lively fruity flavor and good salinity that persists in the finish. It pairs well with fresh and semi-mature cheeses, as well as vegetarian dishes and delicious seafood recipes based on white fish, shellfish, and crustaceans.
