Aroma fruttato
Corpo medioThe Frascati Terso di Merumalia is born from Malvasia del Lazio and di Candia grapes (overall about 80% of the blend), Greco and Fiano. The Fusco family produces wine and oil in organic farming, also hosting in an ancient farmhouse in Frascati, a place with great oenological potential for its volcanic soils and climate tempered by the maritime influence. The grapes are processed in steel, as well as the wine is aged for 4 months on the lees in steel tanks, followed by another 3 months in the bottle before being marketed.
The Frascati Terso di Merumalia pours into the glass with a straw-colored hue illuminated by greenish flashes. On the nose, it recalls white melon, snuff peach, jasmine, chamomile, Chinese mandarin, thyme, and sage. On the palate, it has lively freshness, intense savoriness, and a pleasantly bitter finish. Interesting pairing with certain dishes of Japanese cuisine, such as chicken yakitori, or tuna belly nigiri.
