Filosofia BIO
Corpo medioThe Frappato di Valle dell'Acate is one of the labels of the interesting project "7 Lands for 7 Wines". Valle dell'Acate has always been committed to environmental conservation: it experiments with production processes based on sustainability principles, uses irrigation systems that maximize water efficiency to avoid waste, and works to redevelop the surrounding territory. With the "7 lands for 7 wines" project, it has associated 7 native grapes with 7 different types of soil present on the property, matching each grape to the most suitable soil, aiming for a high and characteristic expression of the territory. The Frappato di Valle dell'AcateFrappato is born in Contrada Bidini, the vineyards are located at about 100m altitude, where the soil is black and quite compact with white pebbles; its structure allows the plant to have good root oxygenation that goes deep into the ground. The grapes harvested in the second decade of September are vinified in steel, just like the wine ages for 6 months in steel, followed by another 3 months in the bottle.
The Frappato di Valle dell'AcateFrappato of Vittoria from the Valle dell'Acate company is a delicate transparent and brilliant ruby red. On the nose, it smells of blackberries and blueberries, roses and violets, sage and medicinal herbs; in the mouth, it is lively, savory, with a flowery acidity, dangerously drinkable. A decidedly versatile wine, excellent for example with beef tartare, but also with a seafood stew in red sauce.
