The Etna Rosso Guardiola Alta Mora di Cusumano is a red wine made from 100% Nerello Mascalese grapes cultivated in the homonymous district of Castiglione di Sicilia (CT). The reference vineyard consists of 120-year-old bush-trained vines, rooted in volcanic soils at an altitude of 800-1000 meters above sea level. During vinification, the maceration of the must on the skins took place for 18-21 days at a temperature of 28°C. The aging process lasted several months in large barrels of 25 hectoliters and tonneaux.
ETNA ROSSO GUARDIOLA ALTA MORA CUSUMANO: TASTING
The Etna Rosso Guardiola Alta Mora di Cusumano presents itself with an intense ruby red color. On the nose, it releases aromas of wild berries and red flowers combined with hints of Mediterranean herbs and wet earth, along with notes of leather and dark spices. The palate is soft and structured, enhanced by velvety tannins and a long spicy finish. It pairs well with aged cheeses and succulent dishes of red meats or game.Product specifications
