Aroma fruttato
Corpo medioThe Etna Bianco di Barone di Villagrande was produced from 90% Carricante grapes with the addition of 10% other Etna grape varieties grown in the territory of Milo (CT), on the east side of the Etna volcano. The vineyards are located on lava soil, naturally rich in iron and copper, with a good content of phosphorus, magnesium, and potassium, and completely devoid of calcium, at an altitude of about 700 meters above sea level. The vinification and aging took place in stainless steel tanks where the wine rested for a period of 10 months before bottling.
The Etna Bianco di Barone di Villagrande presents itself with a pale straw yellow color. On the nose, it expresses aromas of white fruit intertwined with fragrant hints of spring flowers and a delicate note of flint. The taste is fresh and pleasant, enhanced by a clear minerality that lingers in the finish. It pairs well with fresh and semi-aged cheeses, as well as vegetarian dishes and tasty seafood recipes based on white fish and shellfish.
