The Dolcetto d'Alba di Cordero di Montezemolo is an organic red produced from 100% Dolcetto grapes. The vineyards, situated facing West and North-West, lie in the municipalities of Alba and La Morra (CN), at an altitude ranging from 250 to 290 meters above sea level. The soils here are loamy, with a low percentage of sand and active limestone. After manual harvesting in the first half of September, the grapes were brought to the cellar where they underwent pressing to start the red vinification process. Alcoholic fermentation, with maceration of the must on the skins, lasted for 8-10 days in stainless steel tanks. The aging took place for 7-8 months in stainless steel tanks.

The Dolcetto d'Alba di Cordero di Montezemolo is highlighted by an intense ruby red color. On the nose, it opens with aromas of wild berries followed by hints of red flowers and a subtle vinous note. On the palate, it is savory, balanced, and fresh, supported by soft and well-integrated tannins. It pairs well with cold cuts and cheeses as well as tasty and light meat dishes. Try it with the classic spaghetti with tomato sauce.
