Pfitscher's Chardonnay Arvum is born from 100% Chardonnay grapes grown in the territories of Egna and Ora, in the province of Bolzano, at an average altitude of 300 metres above sea level.The alcoholic fermentation, which converted the sugars into alcohol, took place in steel and barriques at a controlled temperature of 18° C; the refinement took place for a few months in stainless steel barrels on the lees, an operation that allowed the wine to gain structure and to extract more substances.

CHARDONNAY ARVUM PFITSCHER: THE TASTING

Pfitscher's Chardonnay Arvum Alto Adige DOC has an intense straw yellow colour in the glass. On the nose, it expresses aromas of apple and yellow pulp fruit combined with hints of aromatic herbs and shy smoky notes. The sip is fresh and enveloping, supported by a good body and a clear mineral flavour that persists in the finish. Excellent as an aperitif, at the table, it goes well with fresh and semi-aged cheeses as well as vegetarian dishes and tasty seafood first and second courses. Also to be tried paired with white meats.
