The Champagne L'Universelle di Baron Albert of the maison Baron Albert is a blend focused on the expression of Pinot Meunier, the main grape variety of this area of Champagne, present at 73%, accompanied by 16% Chardonnay and the remaining 11% Pinot Noir. The grapes come from all 7 crus in the Marne Valley where the Baron sisters, the third generation of the family, have vineyards: Charly-sur-Marne, Pavant, Porteron, Domptin, Azy-sur-Marne, Villiers-Saint-Denis, and Crouttes-sur-Marne. This cuvée remains on the lees for 3 to 4 years.

The Champagne Brut L'Universelle of the maison Baron Albert shines in the glass with a golden color and fine, persistent bubbles. On the nose, it is delicately fruity and citrusy, with hints of green notes and subtle minerality; on the palate, it has a lot of freshness, salinity, and elegance, closing with notes of hazelnut and white flowers. An excellent sparkling wine to start the evening, it pairs perfectly with unagi sushi, eel sushi, or simply with turkey meatballs with bay leaves.
