Maison Henriot Champagne Brut Souverain is the expressive synthesis of the territory through the balance between Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Chardonnay is present at 50%, Pinot Noir at 45%, and Pinot Meunier at 5%. More than 25 crus, coming from the best Champagne terroirs (Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims) make up the composition of this cuvée which uses 30% of the Maison's precious reserve wines. The cuvée remains sur pupitre for 3 years before disgorgement and the final dosage is very low.

CHAMPAGNE BRUT SOUVERAIN HENRIOT: TASTING

Maison Henriot Champagne Brut Souverain is of a brilliant pale gold, with a fine perlage that animates it. Deep citrus notes on the nose, followed by floral bouquets, in particular, elderberry; and again notes of brioche, toasted bread and toasted almonds. In the mouth, it is harmonious, fresh, with iodised notes that accompany the crunchy fruit to close with memories of roasting. Superb Champagne as an aperitif, it is glorified with the spicy sprout tuna tartare.
