The Bramìto della Sala di Antinori comes from the vineyards of the ancient Castello della Sala, a few kilometres from Orvieto. Produced with 100% Chardonnay grapes which, in this particular terroir with a soil deriving from fossil sediments with infiltration of clay, show an expression of marked minerality and elegance. The first vintage of Bramìto was 1994. The harvest took place starting from 20 August. Upon arrival in the cellar, the grapes macerated for a couple of hours, after which the masses of the different lots are transferred partly to steel and partly to wood where the alcoholic fermentation takes place. Only the portion vinified in wood then underwent malolactic fermentation, before final assembly and bottling.

BRAMITO DELLA SALA ANTINORI: TASTING

The Bramito del Castello della Sala enters the glass of a straw yellow with greenish reflections; on the nose, it is a composition of tropical fruit and sweet spices, first of all, pineapple and vanilla, accompanied by fresh notes of citrus and mineral trails. In the mouth, it is soft and balanced, between fruity juiciness, good structure and flavour. Good in the company of a tuna steak in a bread crust and herbs, just seared.
