Corpo leggeroProsecco Valdobbiadebe Extra Dry di Borgoluce is Prosecco in its reassuring classicism. The grapes come from vineyards between Susegana and Collalto, located at 200/300 meters above sea level; these morainic hills have clayey soils. Borgoluce spans 1000 hectares of woods, pastures, vineyards, and cereal fields in Susegana, in the province of Treviso: a farm that, in harmony with the environment, takes care of this beautiful and flourishing land of Valdobbiadene. The harvest takes place in mid-September; after the soft pressing of whole grapes, a slow fermentation by carefully selected yeasts occurs at a temperature of 10C; then aging on the noble lees for 4 months. Sparkling then takes place in autoclave following the Charmat method, and the wine continues to refine for another month in the bottle before being released onto the market.
Prosecco Valdobbiadebe Extra Dry di Borgoluce presents itself with a brilliant straw yellow color and fine perlage. The olfactory impact plays among the fermentative scents of pear and apple, the floral fragrances of mimosa and fresh hay, and a delicate minerality. The taste is savory, creamy, with hints of lemon candy and aromatic herbs. This Prosecco is always a good choice, whether for a refreshing afternoon toast or to open a meal, for example with shrimp cocktail or fresh tagliatelle with sea bass ragout.
