Bolgheri Superiore Sondraia di Poggio al Tesoro: THE WINE

The Bolgheri Superiore Sondraia di Poggio al Tesoro is obtained from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc grapes. The original vineyards, facing West and Southwest, are rooted in sandy and clayey soils, at an altitude ranging from 25 to 56 meters above sea level. During the red vinification, alcoholic fermentation took place in stainless steel at a temperature of 28-30°C for 12-15 days. The aging occurred for 22 years in French oak barriques, with 70% new and 30% second passage.

The PLACEHOLDER_WINE stands out in the glass with an intense ruby red color. On the nose, it releases aromas of mature wild berries and hints of balsamic herbs, mingling with damp earth and dark spices. The palate is intense and enveloping, enhanced by velvety tannins and a persistent spicy finish. It pairs well with aged cheeses as well as flavorful dishes featuring red meats or game.
