Corpo robustoBarolo DOCG Brunate–Le Coste 1997 by Giuseppe Rinaldi is a rare historic expression of Nebbiolo, produced from grapes grown in the prestigious Brunate and Le Coste vineyards in the Barolo area. Crafted according to the estate’s traditional philosophy, it offers an authentic interpretation of classic Langhe winemaking, combining elegance, depth and remarkable ageing potential.
The mature and complex bouquet reveals dark cherry, dried flowers, liquorice, aromatic herbs, warm spices and subtle earthy and mineral nuances. The palate is structured and layered, supported by firm tannins, recognisable freshness and a long finish marked by balsamic and spicy notes.
A collectible wine intended for thoughtful enjoyment, it pairs beautifully with braised meats, game, substantial roasts, truffle-based dishes and mature cheeses. As this is an older vintage, the bottle should be allowed to stand upright before opening, while aeration should be assessed carefully according to its condition and provenance.
