Burlotto 's Barolo Acclivi is a blend of the company's crus. All the wines of Fabio Alessandria, operative heir of Commendatore GB Burlotto, show a surprising purity, having been born from the same winemaking philosophy, and raise the company to the Olympus of Langa wines. The grapes of this wine ferment in oak and mature 36 months in large 35 hectoliters barrels.

BAROLO ACCLIVI BURLOTTO: TASTING

Burlotto's Barolo Acclivi shows itself in the glass with an ancient fascinating garnet red. On the nose, it is bursting with the richness of fruit, with cherry, blackberry and strawberry, then it blooms with violets and opens with references to aromatic herbs, dry leaves and liquorice balms. On the palate, it is amazing in its flavour, freshness, gentleness, elegance of tannin and incredible length. To be tasted with obsequious attention and then enhanced with venison fillet with porcini mushrooms, or with Florentine steak, or with grilled duck breast.
