With 135 hectares of vineyards, Castiglione Falletto is the sixth largest comune in the Barolo region by size and is situated right at the heart of the denomination. Its defining feature is the rich and diverse soil composition, with several subzones exhibiting characteristics that vary according to the geological structure, leading to a unique balance between aromas, elegance, and structure. The grape processing follows traditional methods, and the wine is aged for 30 months in large casks.

The Barolo Falletto by Bruno Giacosa displays a typical garnet color. On the nose, it is intense with notes of ripe cherry, strawberry, and macerated blackberry, complemented by rose, violet, iris, aromatic herbs, licorice balsamic notes, and a subtle underbrush hint reminiscent of truffle. On the palate, it is flavorful and well-proportioned, with fine and mature tannins.
