The Barbaresco by Prunotto is made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes grown in vineyards located between the municipalities of Barbaresco and Treiso in the province of Cuneo, on soils called Marne di Sant’Agata fossils, rich in manganese, zinc, and boron. After harvesting, destemming, and crushing, the grapes underwent maceration for 10 days at a maximum temperature of 30°C. Aging took place for about 12 months in oak barrels of various capacities and another 12 months in the bottle.

The Barbaresco by Prunotto presents itself with a wonderful garnet-red color. On the nose, it releases intense aromas of ripe red berries and potpourri combined with balsamic and dark spice hints. The palate is full and elegant, supported by good freshness and finely polished tannins. It pairs well with aged cheeses and tasty dishes of red meats and game.
