Freshness shapes the character of Banfi Chianti Superiore 2024. A season of spring rain, summer heat and cooler September weather gave the Tuscan winery the setting for a fruit-forward red with a supple structure and an easy affinity for food.

Sangiovese at the heart of the blend

Made from traditional Chianti grape varieties, with Sangiovese clearly dominant, the wine is fermented in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks using selected yeasts. Ageing in steel is followed by a brief period in wood, allowing its fresh fruit character to remain central.

Balanced and inviting in the glass

It is ruby red, with fresh, fruity aromas. On the palate, a soft structure is lifted by good acidity, leading to a generous, persistent finish. Gentle tannins make the 2024 vintage enjoyable while still young.

Serve at 16–18°C with poultry, cured meats, cheeses or comforting Italian pasta dishes.
