The Centine di Banfi was produced from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot and Sanguovese grapes grown in the Montalcino area in the province of Siena. During the red vinification - which included the maceration of the must on the skins and malolactic fermentation - the alcoholic fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 25-30°C. The aging took place for several months in 350-liter French oak barrels.

CENTINE BANFI: TASTING

The extracted Centine di BanfiCentine Banfi Red presents a ruby red color with purple reflections. On the nose, it releases scents of blackberry and forest fruits intertwined with notes of red flowers and Mediterranean scrub, closing with hints of dark roasted spices. The taste is full and balanced with a round tannic texture, distinctly fruity and spicy in flavor. Excellent as an all-meal wine, it is enjoyed fully with cold cuts and cheeses, as well as with tasty earth-based dishes of red meats and/or game.
