Filosofia BIO
Corpo medioThe Arneis Langhe DOC Blangé di Ceretto derives from 100% Arneis grapes from vineyards located in the territories of Vezze d'Alba, Castellinaldo, Canale and Alba, in the province of Cuneo. Here, the soils are composed of clay, sand and silt and are located at an altitude between 210 and 290 metres above sea level. Blangé is a symbolic wine of Piedmont, notoriously home to great reds. The first label was born in 1985 thanks to a bet by the brothers Marcello and Bruno Ceretto who decided to focus on the enhancement of a white grape variety little known at the time, the Arneis. To best express its potential, thanks to the oenologist Donato Lanati, they opted for the innovative cryomaceration technique, consisting of cold maceration (5° C) of the must on the skins, to extract the primary aromas of the grapes to the maximum. Before being marketed, the wine rested for a few months in steel.
Arneis Langhe DOC Blangé Ceretto has an intense straw yellow colour in the glass. On the nose, it offers aromas of apple, pear and tropical yellow pulp fruit which are combined with notes of honey and Mediterranean citrus. The sip is fresh and fruity, supported by a good flavour that persists in the finish. White with a versatile character, at the table, it goes well with vegetarian dishes and tasty seafood recipes based on fish and shellfish.
