Fine WineAmarone della Valpolicella Classico Mazzano di Masi is the result of a blend of Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara grapes grown on marly-calcareous soils rich in humus, organized in terraces, at an altitude between 350 and 415 meters above sea level. After the harvest, the bunches were prepared for the traditional drying process in the fruit cellar, which allowed for the concentration of sugars in the grapes. During the red winemaking process, alcoholic fermentation took place spontaneously without temperature control. The aging process lasted for 36 months in large barrels made of Allier and Slavonian oak.
Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Mazzano di Masi is a ruby red wine with garnet reflections. On the nose, it offers aromas of jammy wild berries combined with hints of potpourri of red flowers and notes of dark spices. Ethereal and balsamic nuances complement the olfactory profile. The palate is opulent and enveloping, supported by a velvety tannic structure and a long fruity and spicy finish. This wine pairs beautifully with a flavorful duck breast with wild berries.
