The Aglianico del Vulture Teodosio di Basilisco was produced from 100% Aglianico grapes from the Barile area in the province of Potenza. The reference vineyards, facing South-East, are located on limestone, tuff, and clayey soils, at an altitude of about 500 meters above sea level. During red vinification, alcoholic fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks with maceration of the must in contact with the skins for 20 days. The aging occurred for 12 months in French oak barriques and tonneaux of 2nd and 3rd passage and for an additional 12 months in the bottle.

The Aglianico del Vulture Teodosio di Basilisco presents a ruby red color with purple reflections. On the nose, it offers aromas of ripe berries combined with hints of balsamic herbs, licorice, and dark spices. The palate is rich and intense, supported by smooth tannins and a pleasant fruity and spicy finish. Try it with a succulent dish of tripe and beans.
