The Vermentino Romangia Dettori Bianco di Dettori was produced using 100% Vermentino grapes grown in the Badde Nigolosu estate located in the Sennori area, in the province of Sassari. The vineyard consists of bush-trained vines around 60 years old, rooted in calcareous soils at an altitude of around 300 meters above sea level. After manual harvest, the grapes were destemmed without being crushed and left to macerate in concrete tanks for up to a maximum of 20 days. Alcoholic fermentation took place with the help of indigenous yeasts. No clarification or filtration operations were carried out. The aging process took place in small concrete tanks for a period of 24-36 months.
VERMENTINO ROMANGIA DETTORI BIANCO DETTORI: TASTING
The Vermentino Romangia Dettori Bianco di Dettori presents itself in the glass with an intense straw yellow color with golden reflections. On the nose, it releases aromas of ripe yellow-fleshed apricot that blend with hints of white flowers and notes of the Mediterranean scrubland. Delicate nuances of cedar and yellow citrus complete the olfactory profile. The palate is enveloping and powerful, enhanced by a clear minerality and a long and thrilling finish. It pairs well with soft semi-aged and blue cheeses, as well as vegetarian dishes and tasty seafood-based second courses with white fish, mollusks, and crustaceans.Product specifications
